Please share your TED Journey – what it has been like as you moved from thyroid eye disease first symptoms to diagnosis to where you are now. Best to be concise and also leave out any details that you consider private / personal.
My TED Journey started in 2009 with the double diagnosis of Graves & TED. It would be over 10 years before I would meet another with TED. A rare disease, indeed! The Graves’ disease was easier to solve than TED. It took 6 surgeries to correct for TED once the progression hit a plateau. I am on the other side of it now and give myself to best care in hopes that neither auto-immune will return. I appreciate being part of the TED Community and enjoy meeting others who are dealing with TED. Together, we can make a better today and tomorrow for all those affected by thyroid eye disease.
